While Chicago missed out on a White Christmas, some parts of the area will wake up to a White New Years Eve. On-and-off flurries will occur during the day on Monday, with snow showers developing in the afternoon. Most of the accumulating snow is expected to fall after 8 pm Monday evening through Tuesday morning. Most areas will see around one inch of snow, with lesser amounts south of I-80 and up to 2″ mainly north of I-90. Winds will pick up throughout the day and overnight, gusting at times up to 35 mph. New Years Eve looks cloudy and cold with mostly sunny and warmer conditions expected for New Years Day.
As always, thank you for choosing Arctic Snow & Ice Control, and we wish you a Happy New Year!
